d. Integrate theory and research outcomes into nursing administration, education and practice.

According to the Humanistic Learning Theory, every person is unique and will strive to have positive growth and learning in their lives. The role of the educator in the process is to be a facilitator and coach. The strong task of the educator is to be a listener and develop a direct relationship with the learner. The educator must tailor the learning to meet the individual’s needs. The transfer of learning is performed through the individual’s positive or negative feelings of self and his/her freedom to explore and learn. The transfer of learning is enabled by open situations in which the individual has positive thoughts, freedom, flexibility, and curiosity to learn. The role of the educator in the process is to be a facilitator and coach. The strong task of the educator is to be a listener and develop a direct relationship with the learner. The educator must tailor the learning to meet the individual’s needs. The following paper will discuss how I as an educator can use the Humanistic Learning Theory in education and practice.
