In this assignment, I discussed how tecnology and informatics is used in the health care enviornment to run chart audits and complete evidence-based research to identify positive patient outcomes. This assignment uses the example of Children's Hospital using chart audits to identify whether vein viewers and wee sights help improve peripheral intravenous insertion in the pediatric population.
Ventilators are a piece of technology that are continously developing and used throughout health care facilities. This assigment involved research regarding ventilator associated pneumonias and new protocols and technology modification to reduce the incidence of poor outcomes and ultimately enhance patient outcomes.
